Did You Know?
For my new book Sugar and Spice and Not So Nice, I polled over 1200 women nationwide to learn more about their relationships with other women. The majority are experiencing an alarming level of toxic behavior in their adult female relationships: it’s among lifelong friends, neighbors, cousins, sisters, colleagues, the list goes on. Many say it’s having negative effects on their self-esteem and mental health. Even more problematic – it’s impacting their daughters. My hope is the this book will help us put an end to this insidious behavior for the sake of ourselves and the young girls in our lives.
Have dealt with grown up mean girls or toxic women.
Have been the victim of social exclusion or having rumors spread about them.
Of mothers say their daughters have dealt with mean girls.
Say they have a toxic female family member.
Deal with toxic women in the workplace.

I worked with Ericka Souter for more than six years at People magazine. She’s sharp, dependable, clever and charming — both in print and on air. Ericka brings experience and passion to every job she takes on, and it’s no wonder she’s been booked on every talk show from Today to The Early Show to CNN. She offers a smart take on celebrity and parenting — never talking down to her audience — but still manages to be entirely relatable. As an editor, too, she brings a sense of intelligence, whether it’s packaging diet stories or picking sexiest men.
